Functional Description

The FM 1/8 is an extremely sensitive spark and ember detector designed to protect against fire and explosions in industrial processes. It reacts to the infrared spectrum emitted by ignition sources. It is designed for use in environments without ambient light.

The device can be connected to any GreCon control panel using a standard three-core cable. Multiple flexible installation adapter options are available to suit any environment. The control panel interacts with the device to monitor fire sources in the process, configure detection parameters, and automatically check the accuracy of the sensor's optical function.
